    Schengen Visa

    Who needs a Schengen visa?

Nationals of countries that do not have a visa-free agreement with the Schengen Area must apply for a visa before traveling. This includes countries like Morocco, India, Nigeria, South Africa, and the Philippines, among others.

What is the expected duration of a Schengen visa for a first-time applicant?

The visa's validity may vary based on factors such as the purpose of the visit, the applicant's profile, and the Spanish embassy's discretion. We have, however, had first-time applicants who received 6-month multiple-entry visas.

Subsequent applications, particularly after demonstrating compliance with visa conditions, may result in multiple-entry visas valid for 1, 3, or even 5 years.

What are the chances of a Schengen visa application being rejected, and what should an applicant do if their application is rejected?

There is a chance that a Schengen visa application may be rejected, depending on various factors including the applicant's nationality, family composition, and their ties to Gibraltar. If an application is rejected, applicants are encouraged to submit an appeal to the Consulate of Spain in London, addressing the reason for rejection and providing any requested supporting documents.

What are the benefits of joining A2Zs Schengen visa application groups?

We offer three key benefits to applicants who join our Schengen visa application groups:

    1. Cost Efficiency: By organising group applications, we aim to reach a higher number of participants, which allows us to reduce the overall fee per applicant.

    2. Comprehensive Application Support: We assist with the preparation of your visa application and all required supporting documents. Our team provides step-by-step guidance and ensures your documentation meets the necessary standards.

    3. End-to-End Coordination: We handle all communication with BLS International, schedule the appointment, and provide in-person support during biometric submission and document collection. Once your visa is processed, we coordinate with BLS to make sure your passport is returned to Gibraltar as soon as possible.

This structured approach ensures a smoother and more efficient visa application experience.

Are applicants required to travel to London to submit applications and provide biometric data?

No, all applications are submitted, and biometric data provided, in Gibraltar.

What should applicants bring with them on the day of the appointment?

Applicants must bring their original passport for submission and civilian registration card for verification.

In what language should supporting documents be submitted to be accepted?

Supporting documents should be submitted in English or Spanish. If documents are in another language, applicants are required to provide a certified translation to ensure their documents are accepted by the Spanish embassy in London.
