Our Simple Marriage Service provides confidential, end-to-end guidance and personal assistance throughout every stage of the process. Stage 6: Marriage Registry Ceremony Attendance
We attend your civil ceremony which is conducted by a Registrar in accordance with Gibraltar law, and your marriage is legally formalised. We can help you secure witnesses if required at no additional fee.
Stage 7: Post-Ceremony Documentation
After the ceremony, we assist with obtaining certified copies of your marriage certificate and, where required, apostille certificates for international use.
Important Things to Remember
- All documents not issued in English must be translated into English by a certified translator
- Non-residents marrying or entering a civil partnership in Gibraltar must provide the Registrar, by the day before the ceremony, with proof of at least one night’s stay in Gibraltar, either immediately before or after the ceremony
- Ensure that all passports or identification documents are valid and will not expire before the date of the ceremony. The Registrar will not accept expired identification documents
