SERVICES WE OFFER
Marriage Services
Our marriage services guide you through every step of the process — from document preparation to ceremony attendance — ensuring your special day is smooth, compliant, and stress-free.
How We Can Help
Stage 1: Initial Contact & Briefing
We begin with a consultation (email, phone, or video call) to understand your nationality, marital status, preferred dates, and specific circumstances. We explain legal requirements, timelines, fees, and next steps.
Stage 2: Document Review & Circumstance Assessment
We carefully review your personal documents (passports, birth certificates, divorce decrees if applicable, statutory declarations, etc.) and assess your eligibility under Gibraltar law. Any missing or incorrect documents are identified early to avoid delays.
Stage 3: Date Booking & Registry Coordination
Once documentation is confirmed, we coordinate with the Gibraltar Civil Registry to secure your preferred ceremony date. We manage official filings, appointment confirmations, and any required declarations.
Stage 4: Arrival in Gibraltar & Original Document Submission
Once documentation is confirmed, we coordinate with the Gibraltar Civil Registry to secure your preferred ceremony date. We manage official filings, appointment confirmations, and any required declarations.
Stage 5: Affidavit Swearing & Final Paperwork Completion
Once documentation is confirmed, we coordinate with the Gibraltar Civil Registry to secure your preferred ceremony date. We manage official filings, appointment confirmations, and any required declarations.
Stage 6: Marriage Registry Ceremony Attendance
We attend your civil ceremony which is conducted by a Registrar in accordance with Gibraltar law, and your marriage is legally formalised. We can help you secure witnesses if required.
Stage 7: Post-Ceremony Documentation
After the ceremony, we assist with obtaining certified copies of your marriage certificate and, where required, apostille certification for international use.
- All documents not issued in English must be translated into English by a certified translator.
- Non-residents marrying or entering a civil partnership in Gibraltar must provide the Registrar, by the day before the ceremony, with proof of at least one night’s stay in Gibraltar, either immediately before or after the ceremony.
- Ensure that all passports or identification documents are valid and will not expire before the date of the ceremony. The Registrar will not accept expired identification documents.
