Apostilles
An Apostille is an official certificate attached to a Gibraltar document to authenticate the signature and authority of the person who signed the document. It allows the document to be recognised for official/legal purposes in another country that accepts Apostilles under the Hague Convention.

Obtaining an Apostille involve two stages:
Preparation and Submission: Once we have received the document(s) that need to be apostilled, we can prepare and submit your application the next working day.
Processing: The Department of Immigration & Home Affairs currently offers:
- Standard Next-Day Service
- Same-Day/Urgent Service
- Same-day applications are generally submitted between 8:30am and 1:00pm, Monday to Friday, with the Apostille normally ready after approximately one hour
